Technological cavalcade in Porto

NDC Porto 2022, the world-renowned event for software developers, took place last month, where the industry's big players discussed current trends, future technologies, and development directions. This year, a professional delegation from SynerinSoft also attended the event to expand knowledge and expertise, which we can then put back to the benefit of our customers.

From 25 to 29 April 2022, NDC Porto 2022, one of the most popular events in the developer community, took place at the Alfandega Conference Centre in Porto. Two of the five days of the event were dedicated to workshops and three to presentations.
The Porto leg of the NDC's travelling event saw participants soak up knowledge in 8 workshops. They covered topics such as machine learning, identification and access, C#, .NET, domain-driven design, coding, modern systems with gRPC in ASP.NET Core 6, secure APIs and web applications, and GraphQL.

More than 85 speakers attended the event, giving over 100 presentations over the 5 days. There were talks on .NET, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Clouds, Continuous Delivery, Cross-platform systems, Databases, Desing, and DevOps. Some presentations also touched on functional programming, JavaScript, security, machine learning, serverless, testing and UX.

Speakers included renowned experts such as Alon Kiriati, Dropbox Tech lead, Ben Hall, creator of Katacode, Dale Lane, IBM developer, Elbert Grootenboer, Microsoft senior program manager, and James Lewis, ThoughtWorks director. Check out the list of speakers!

The NDC event series is an important event in the technology world, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences. The next events will take place in Copenhagen at the end of May and Melbourne at the end of June.
